Tom Cat Toiletries was a new men's cosmetics company with offices one block from my studio. I met Terry Murray, the CEO, and said I'd be glad to shoot his products for free, for our mutual needs: my portfolio and his advertising, for which he would pay me for any works published. Terry gave me his photogenic products, and we were off and running.
