a visit with
Arny & Betty Werner
Shortly after the gathering of the JMHS 1955 class in June 2005, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to visit my classmate and fellow photographer, Arny Werner, with his charming wife Betty, at their lovely home in Michigan. Arny is a retired Professor of Psychiatry at Michigan State University.
The last time I had seen Arny was in 1958 in Brooklyn. How amazing to realize that within our physical changes of almost 50 years, Arny and I are still the same excitedly curious kids, about our mutual enthusiasm for photography. And coincidentally, both of us are retired professors.
Besides the wonderful hospitality and meeting the Werner's good friends and colleagues, a pleasant surprise was the special visit of another JMHS 1955 classmate, Priscilla Greenberg, who came by from her home near Detroit.
Here are some photographs from that visit.
